Firstly, are you being criticized or condemned for your work in your life up to now? And is it easy to digest? Do you accept criticism? These are some questions I wanna ask you before you scroll down and your answers to the above questions will determine whether you wanna proceed down the lines. In life, nothing starts smooth and if it does, it doesn’t flow smoothly thereafter. Every single thing you do(whether by passion or under compulsion) is prone to certain disapproval or rejection, can be publicly or within the four walls.
Criticism hits you as much as it sounds and nothing can be devastating more than your thoughts and expressions being rejected. With about 95% confidence, it will be stated here that no one likes criticism.
Well! Where does it bud? Criticism doesn’t simply come out of nowhere rather it’s just one form of Newton’s third law of action. It involves emotions and actions compounded to the degree of your skills and knowledge. Nothing remains without reaction. It depends on your personality, effective communication, socioeconomic status and many more. Well don’t stop reading here, please continue….
Be it the most heartbreaking criticism or a constructive one, it comes to you with someone’s sense of dislike and embarrassment. Always remember, people will criticize regardless of your idea being positive or negative in its influence.
If all of us don’t like criticism, then what makes some of us stand while some drown deep in the ocean of criticism? Fine! You are criticized because your idea/work/contribution/etc was perceived by someone as inappropriate or against their will, however, it doesn’t end here. I mean it ends here if you are mentally and emotionally weak, and you feel what they perceived is right. It doesn’t end here otherwise. Can’t criticism be a fuel to your vehicle of life? Some people stop doing what they do after being criticized but some move on despite heavy criticism. So, as long as you remain firm with what you have done and it is a positive move, criticism will rather ignite the fire of passion to continue further.
As life is all about acceptance, so does the criticism. You will be criticized positively(although rare) and mostly negatively but you can mould both into one doughnut and use that new product positively. Taking anything in life positively would be misleading but it’s way simpler than it sounds. Not every thing but criticism can be taken positively if you wanna make brighter transformation.
On fine day in the past! I was being told that staying yourself cocooned in your comfort zone will make you rotten, and you must get out and take an adventure with your eyes and ears wide open if you want to achieve something new. Facing criticism is going for an adventure, ready to battle any obstacles on your journey. In MLBB(Mobile legend bang bang- an internet game) sense, you are being SAVAGE in your journey of life facing criticism even if it means the worst.
It comes to the point, ‘SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST’. Gender is a weak classification in this regard. I mean criticism can be well tolerated by both genders but it depends on other factors like courage and confidence and many more.
Criticism is important for the personal behavioral development and for the success of any organization. There is a very little possibility that, if you are excellent in your works, people will criticize you. Criticism means you need to standardize yourself. For instance, you will get so many bad comments as a writer, it means two things: either they are jealous of your work or you are not expressing your writing well. Taking another instance, film association would be criticized for not having standard entertainment programs. Despite being heavily disturbed and disheartened, if the writer or the film organization consider any bad comments as constructive criticism, then, there is a high possibility that a better sun will shine next time. Who knows! It’s all about acceptance and moving forward.
Be aware! Even your good work(without any flaws) can also be criticized. I hope you know that. It’s rather a force driven by embarrassment and jealousy within the person who criticize you. He/she could have done that work but didn’t do and now saw you doing it. It’s highly likely to get criticized because he or she is jealousy. Your work might affect someone socially and emotionally, it will trigger them to point out your work fueled by embarrassment again.
Criticism can come in any form and you should be ready to face before your work is publicized or published somewhere.
