Dear Mother Sri Lanka ๐ฑ๐ฐ
On 02/11/2015, I stepped out of the Sri Lankan Air Plane โ๏ธ UL-196 and the moment when I first touched you, I had a good feeling that I never had in my life. As a humble person I felt so blessed to be sent here because I was assured that I would be experiencing the beautiful things in my life with new friends in a completely new place. I was ready to experience everything that comes on my way and as expected you didnโt break my heart.
You gave your best and you were one of the kindest mother I have ever met. You convinced me that you have got so many beautiful treasures and that I must see them, it really gave me extra heart to love you more and more. I have so much love for what you have done and I am sure I wonโt forget it even if I step out of your door one day.

Your children were soft and gentle so much so that they have treated me just like their own siblings. I have never felt so grateful than this. Sometimes, I used to tell myself that โthey are far better than what I believedโ. Moreover, you advised me not to forget my main purpose of joining your family. I was always motivated to move forward and there was always someone who would lift me up when I was about to fall down. You cared me and when I fall sick sometimes, you have treated me with all your heart and gave me extra hopes to continue.
Mother, you are still good to me and all your children but you are SICK. Thatโs why you are not happy at he moment. You are sick because you didnโt expect your children to be different but they are. You wanted them to be SIBLINGS but they didnโt want to be in that way. Yes! Mother, you have reason to be sad and sick because I also feel the same. I mean the one who joined your family three years ago also feels that itโs not right. I mean your children should really listen to you at this critical time when you are sick.
Mother, tell them once more that they are your children and they share the same blood. Itโs really disheartening that they have even forgotten me, mother. Whether I am being forgotten is not important but who they were once really matters to me. I feel they have walked a longer distance than mother could have imagined. Mother, you are Sick but they arenโt there for you. They are just walking and walking beyond the wall you have built.
I know, Mother, you will be fine if your children are doing great. You will recover, I know, when your children know that you have told them about the wall that they should never cross and the bridge that they should always build together.
Mother Sri Lanka, I pray for your quick recovery and hope that your children will unit together under one roof. I hope they will share the smiles and laughters together just the way it used to be when I first became your family member.
I love you Mother
